]]> Anne Haug is the reigning Ironman World Champion and she is desperate for a return to racing soon! Despite her impressive race record, winning is not everything for Anne… it is more important that she crosses the finish line of a race knowing that she has given absolutely everything she could and if she wins that is an added bonus!

Anne touches on the Collins Cup and her excitement about the new team format and how great it will be to have the best of the best racing against each other. Anne also reveals that she can do some really funny things with her tongue… this was not what we were expecting when we asked if she has any hidden talents!

]]> Rachel Joyce is one of long distance triathlon’s true idols! She was ITU Long Distance Triathlon World Champion, runner up in Kona twice, is a qualified solicitor, is a member of the PTO athlete board and is an all round great mum! It’s no wonder that she once fell asleep in T2 only to be woken by a security guard.

Rachel, now retired, recounts her experiences as a professional including her career highlights, the strain of trying to initially balance a career in law with training as well as her dilemma when it came to wanting to have children. The early days of her Pro career left her nearly broke, even when she finished 6th in a World Championship race, hence why she is so driven to help make positive change within the sport to ensure all Pros are able to race to their full potential!
